Mr and Mrs Walker {Spokane Wedding Photographer}
Steve and Amanda got married at High Country Orchard up on Greenbluff last Saturday. Needless to say, the venue is gorgeous and it's always fun working there. But this wedding was different. DIFFERENT! And FUN! I even had to make a list!
- the wedding party had 2 members : Porter and Ernest, the bride and groom's Scottish Terriers. Porter tried to run away and attack another dog so we had a bride, a groom and 3 teenagers trying to tackle him and bring him back!
- the wedding had a Scottish theme including plaid shoes for the bride, plaid tie for the groom, bow ties for the dogs, 2 men in full Scottish attire, a bagpipe player, Scottish themed centerpieces and more!
- the cake toppers were 2 Scottish Terriers- dressed as bride and groom that they had custom ordered from Etsy.CUTE!
- They also bought their rings from a store on Etsy.
- the cake was never delivered, so the bride bought a pie from the High Country Orchard store and moved on (how awesome is she?)
- They had people take polaroid pictures of themselves and write messages to the couple on them. I thought it was the most awesome idea!
- The groom's best friend got permission online to officiate the wedding.
- The sky was beautiful and blue and the sun was shining for the ceremony although the weather forecast had sworn that it was going to rain the whole day through. It didn't rain at all!
- During the reception, there was a table full of board games for people to play.
- The groom wrote his vows on a Post-it note.
Steve and Amanda are made for each other and loved by many family members and friends who were all there to celebrate their love with them. Thank you for letting me capture your amazing wedding! I wish you all the best!

Just darling! So many cute and fun ideas. Loved them all! Kudos to the bride for not having a meltdown over the cake. I was soooo impressed. :D Does the groom realize just how lucky he is to have a wife with that kind of temperament?! (I know my husband wishes his wife had that kind!)
